About Harvard Jnr. School

Our Story

A Home for Learning in Belvedere

Our journey began in 2008 as Eastview Nursery School, before we opened our doors at the corner of Harvard Road and Hudson Road, Belvedere in Harare, on 15 January 2015 as Harvard Junior School. It is a place to focus, solidify and add quality, variety and scope to students' lives — a place for warmth, friendship and working together.

To build a nation, build a school.

— Prof. Amartya Sen, Nobel Laureate in Economics

Our Legacy

New in Buildings, Not in Experience

Our teachers and administration are committed to helping each individual student become the best they are capable of being. The school premises create a positive learning environment for students. We may be new in terms of building infrastructure, but we are not new to the education industry — our roots go back to 2008. Our sister school, Harvard Senior School in New Southerton, continues that same journey into secondary education, offering a Cambridge and ZIMSEC-accredited curriculum for our graduates.
